Sierra Gulde, The Photographer Capturing the Beauty of Las Vegans
Being a desert native, Sierra moved from Arizona to Las Vegas in 2015. Mom to 3 beautiful boys and wife to an Army Veteran, she loves to take her adventures outdoors. Sierra and her family get a thrill out of hopping in the jeep, listening to rock music and exploring the curiosities of ghost towns around Nevada. She considers herself a “cool” mom with purple hair one week and teal hair the next, all while sporting artsy tattoos. Sierra grew up quirky and shy but since starting her photography business in 2021 she has flourished. She is now out of her “shy” box and will befriend you for a lifetime in just one session.
Photography for Sierra has always been a dream job. Throughout high school she took photography classes and even studied at The Art Institute of Las Vegas until they permanently closed their doors. In 2021 she decided it was time to turn her dream into her career. Creating forever moments came easy to Sierra as she naturally loves to meet new people and learn about their lives. She’s often found photographing milestones, maternity, family, engagement, or elopement shoots. True joy comes when she sees her work on display in her clients homes, receives grateful messages, and has repeat clientele come back time and again. Her clients aren't just clients to her, they are considered family and Sierra is thankful to everyone who puts their trust in her.
Here, Sierra shares what she’s currently vibing with in Las Vegas and in her life…
Red Rock & Calico Basin
I love going to Red Rock, it still feels like the first time EVERY time I drive through. There is a scenic overlook outside of the regular loop that gives me goosebumps (especially when it's overcast). Calico Basin is another spot out at Red Rock that is a must see especially if you are a hiker!
Honey Salt
A restaurant I love to go to with my girls is Honey Salt. The environment is so fun, they have the best mimosas, and the food is to die for!
Goldfield & Nelson’s Landing
Making memories with my boys whether we go out in our backyard or go visit ghost towns in and around Vegas is so important to me. We love to visit Goldfield and Nelsons Landing since there are some really cool cars and things to see out there.
Parkway Tavern
For date night when we are feeling extra fun we love to go to Parkway Tavern. It’s not on the strip but it is so fun. It’s basically an adult playground and they have good drinks!
A Stephen King Novel
I’m always reading a Stephen King novel, I love the thrill and it’s nice to relax after a long day.
“I LOVE that something is always open here, you can't get that in many other places. Most of all, I love the people! I’ve made so many lifelong friends living in Vegas”
