She is also a devoted Wife and Mother of two delightful children, Maddy and Madden. Having spent most of her life in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Amanda briefly ventured to Miami after completing her education, only to be drawn back to her beloved hometown in 2015. By day, she assumes the role of Business Development Manager at her family's enterprise, A1 Fence, passionately contributing to its growth and success.

Vegas so Vicious has become the home of all of her adventures, Amanda started documenting her journey in late 2019 and grew closer with the local foodie community over the years. Her mission is for people to spend more time creating unforgettable memories and the simplest way to do so is through food. We caught up with Amanda and asked her to share her 7 Favorite places to EAT in Las Vegas.

Your Way

I used to work around the corner from Your Way and would love popping into there and getting breakfast and lunch my way. From making sandwiches out of waffles, building your own plate to their chicken melt sandwiches and perfectly seasoned fries it's the perfect spot to pop in and grab a quick breakfast or lunch in their vibrant location. They also have a walk up window for carrying out orders. It’s super convenient and great service for the whole family!

Located: Jones & Lake Mead / Dine with Kids

Ferraros’

This spot is a family owned Italian restaurant and you can taste the love in every bite. Pair it with their vast selection of award winning wine lists, and you won't be disappointed. This makes for the perfect date night or a place to have a celebratory dinner. They're equipped with an outside patio for hosting parties as well. What I love most is that they stay open late and are a great place to go when you finish up a show. Sometimes you just want a beautiful meal and a cocktail to close out the evening, and this is the place to do it.

Located: Harmon & Paradise / Dine without kids

Pink Duck

Nothing is better to me than when the food and aesthetics are both elite. Pink Duck opened in Henderson with a Filipino twist on brunch. First things first…. Yes they have bottomless mimosas! But they also have a line up of tasty Soju cocktails that are perfectly paired with the menu and very instagrammable. They have Ube pancakes, Ube funnel cake and my favorite…the Adobo sliders with Hawaiian rolls. So good, super cute and family friendly… but if you want to,… drop the kids off at Kids Quest while you enjoy a quiet meal, …I won't blame you!

Located: Sunset & Marks St / Dine with kids

The Parlour

If you were in love with The Stove, you remember the genius of Antonio. His new concept is a coffee shop with walkable eats, nestled in downtown. His son is helping run this venture and the coffee and breakfast items are out of this world. They have crepes, benny’s and so much more. The best part is they have the first drive thru concept downtown. Pull up in the parking lot across from container park, and you will find an employee ready to take your order!

Location: Carson & 7th st / Dine without kids inside and with kids at the drive thru

Kogi

You can find a LOT of great Korean BBQ in Vegas, but my favorite spot for the whole family is by far - Kogi. It's nice and spacious for large groups to enjoy, reasonably priced with discounts for the kiddos and also has great service. My kids love feeling like they're getting anything they want along with a front row seat to watching their parents cook up the meal. You can also grab a hot pot depending on what you’re in the mood for.

Location: Maryland Pkwy & Silverado Ranch / Dine with kids

Amano

You've probably heard of them before because of their famous “Fat Baby” - the gigantic cone-shaped bread, filled with your choice of pasta and sauce. But my favorite item on the menu is the Pizzazone. It’s half pizza, half calzone and they have the best alfredo in the food game. If you don't believe me, try it for yourself! Within its quaint setting, this place delivers big on flavor. It’s perfect for a weekday, date night and you’ll have to try some of their Rosemary Lemonade when you get there!

Location: Ann & 95N / Dine without kids … but they will enjoy the takeout!

Tastebudz

It took me ages to find a place that has great soul food. To top it - Tastebudz has a Caribbean flair that I can't resist! This place evolved from a food truck and now has an expansive space for the whole family to enjoy their specialties, like oxtail, greens, mac n cheese and especially their seafood. The portions are enormous and the staff will make you feel like family when you walk through the door. Don't forget to grab the candy grapes!

Location: Decatur & Lake Mead / Dine with kids
