Horses4Heroes Equestrian Ranch: Event & Education Center in Las Vegas
The LVEC: More Than Just a Ranch
In the heart of northwest Las Vegas, a hidden gem awaits families seeking a blend of entertainment, education, and equestrian experiences. Horses4Heroes, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering a love for horses among local heroes, and families, operates the Family Equestrian Center, a 2.5-acre ranch that has become a haven for horse enthusiasts of all ages.
LVEC (Las Vegas Equestrian Center), goes beyond being a ranch. It is an event, education, and equestrian hub, hosting school field trips, Farm Science workshops, parties, and various activities centered around their beloved horses. You can sign up for the current programs and activities here.
Riding into Fun: Family Farm Days
Young children have an innate fascination with horses, and at Horses4Heroes, they believe that the best way to cultivate this passion is through frequent visits and exposure. Their weekly open houses, known as Family Farm Days, cater to children ages 2 and up, offering a mix of educational activities, and engaging experiences.
Admission to Family Farm Days includes a thrilling horse ride, with opportunities to purchase re-rides …for just $5! Families can choose the flexibility of Annual and Season Passes, ensuring that horse lovers can visit the ranch as often as they desire.
For the younger ones, aged 4 to 7, H4H offers 15-minute riding lessons, while those aged 8 and above can participate in hour-long horsemanship sessions, providing an immersive and educational interaction with the gentle equine companions.
Saddle Up, Moms: Adult Horsemanship Sessions
For the horse-crazy moms yearning for a taste of the 'Heartland' or 'Yellowstone' lifestyle, Horses4Heroes offers adult horsemanship sessions on weekday mornings. It's a unique opportunity to connect with these majestic creatures and experience the joy of horse riding firsthand.
Did you know there are other animals besides horses on the ranch? You can find the friendly llama and hand-feed him grapes, then guide the miniature horses, play with the many goats and more!
Community Engagement: Building Bonds Beyond the Saddle
Horses4Heroes extends its reach beyond individual families, actively engaging with the community. In Spring 2023, the ranch hosted 19 free team-building sessions for 10 Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Commands, involving both officers and civilians. Coordinated through the LVMPD’s Health & Wellness Bureau, these sessions aimed to foster teamwork, communication, and camaraderie.
Looking ahead, Horses4Heroes is set to provide Youth Empowerment programs to the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada, specifically targeting the James Clubhouse in North Las Vegas. These initiatives underscore the organization's commitment to building strong community bonds and empowering the youth through meaningful experiences with horses.
Join the Horses4Heroes Family

In summary, Horses4Heroes Equestrian Ranch is not just a place to ride horses; it's a community, an education center, and a haven for people to come together and experience the joy and wonder of these magnificent animals.
